In connection with Youm-e-Takbeer, a special program was organized in Upper South Waziristan. A welcoming camp was established in Kotkai to receive families visiting the region. The police extended a warm welcome to the visitors and provided refreshments, including water, drinks, food items, and toys for children.

District Police Officer (DPO) Arshad Khan stated that May 28 is a day that symbolizes national pride, self-reliance, unity, and resilience. It is a source of honor for the entire nation. He further emphasized that on this day, Pakistan demonstrated its defense capabilities by becoming a nuclear power, sending a strong message to adversaries that the sovereignty and security of the nation will never be compromised.

DPO Arshad Khan added that visiting families, who had arrived in Upper Waziristan to spend the summer season, were included in the day’s celebrations.

According to the Public Relations Office, like the rest of the country, Youm-e-Takbeer was commemorated in Upper South Waziristan with great national spirit and enthusiasm. A simple yet dignified ceremony was held at the Police Lines in Sararogha.

Following the ceremony, a camp was set up in Kotkai under the direction of the DPO to welcome the visiting families. The DPO personally greeted the guests, distributed refreshments and food items, and handed out toys to children. He also interacted with the families and listened to their feedback. Lady police officers were present at the camp to assist women visitors.

A large number of local elders also attended the event. The visiting families expressed their appreciation for the excellent arrangements made by the police. Many stated that they were deeply touched by the DPO’s efforts and felt genuinely welcomed. They noted that such initiatives help build stronger connections between the police and the public.
